TAMPAN NATIONAL PRESIDENT, BOLAJI AMUSAN, INAUGURATES NEW EXECUTIVES OF TAMPAN CANADA

It was Funfair and jubilation as The Canadian Chapter of Theatre Arts and Motions Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), had their first set of executives elected after 30 days of consolidation.
The famous and the frontline thespian, Otunba Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as “Mr Latin” who is the National President of TAMPAN arrived Canada 12th of November alongside other top Nollywood actors to ensure a smooth and successful electoral process.
The association over the few months had reached well over 60 in membership strength and nominations were made for eligible candidates to fill in the open executive positions.
On the 13th of November there was a three hours’ online conference meeting supervised by the National President which eventually berthed the first Executives to pilot the affairs of the association for the next 4 years.
According  to the findings, the electoral process was said to be very successful and well conducted.
On the 17th of November, the National President presided over an elaborate get together inauguration event which was well attended by the newly elected officials and association members.

Director of Planning & Business development – Korede Obasan & Ninilola Fatai

Provost Marshal – Olufunmilayo Olumade.

The National President, Otunba Bolaji Amusan, expressed his confidence on newly elected Executive President. He confirmed that Temidayo Enitan has been in the industry for many years, He is well exposed and he has been supportive to Yoruba movie industry financially and morally. He implored the new Executives to work with him to build TAMPAN Canada chapter to a greater heights.
Otunba Bolaji Amusan further disclosed how he emerged as the national president. He said “Humility is crucial to real success and it is the greatest quality that a man can have. “Pride makes us artificial; humility make us real.” Never be proud but show humility towards others.
In  the same vein, the newly sworn in Executive Vice President TAMPAN Canada, Mr.Temidayo Enitan, described the opportunity to serve the Association as a call to service and promised to take the association to Eldorado.
He asked for cooperation within the executives and used the medium to invite interested members to join the association.
On his new portfolio, Mr Temidayo Enitan, Starboy as he fondly called, assured members of his commitment to work for the development of the association. He pointed out he needs the support of his Vice president, Olori Funmilayo Adedeji based on her many years of experience in the industry. He also urged newly Executives to work with him in-order to deliver well and to propel association foward. “Together we can do it to work for the success of our great Association.
However, when speaking with the Director of publicity, Otunba Kemi Olanrewaju said “as the principal image maker of the association, I will relate with other Executives to create awareness where necessary for the benefit of the association.
She stated further that TAMPAN Canada Chapter is planning to shoot their first movie soon.
Newly Executives are expected to serve for the period of Four years according to the TAMPAN constitution.
Chief Segun Remi admonished the newly inaugurated executives to brace up to the task ahead and work in conformity to the association’s constitution.
